Comedy Central and Frito-Lay are joining forces to bring the "South Park" Cheesy Poofs to life in honor of the controversial animated series' 15th anniversary. The snack, which is a favorite of characters Eric Cartman and Kyle Broflovski, will be sold in a limited run of 1.5 million at Wal-Mart for $2.99. They'll also be distributed at the Ultimate "South Park Experience" exhibit at San Diego's Comic-Con International.
"It's fair to say the viewers of programs on Comedy Central overlap well with consumers of our products," said Frito-Lay spokesman Chris Kuechenmeister to the New York Times. "This is the first time we've moved into something like this. It seemed like a nice thing to try."
Will you try the real-life version of "South Park" Cheesy Poofs?

I'm all for commemorating anniversaries, but $3 for a 2oz bag of CHEETOS is expensive.
