Over 2,700 Olive Garden customers in Fayetteville, N.C. have gotten hepatitis A vaccinations following an incident in which a server tested positive for the disease. The Cumberland County Public Health Department has been offering the vaccines for free for anyone who worked or dined at the restaurant on the following dates: July 28, July 29, July 31, Aug. 1, Aug. 2 and Aug. 8.
That particular Olive Garden location serves about 800 customers daily. The hepatitis A scare is the latest PR nightmare for Olive Garden; in April, a Florida location served an infant sangria instead of orange juice.
