From salt-and-buttered movie going fare to sugar-coated kettle corn and crunchy Cracker Jack, popcorn is a surprisingly versatile food. Low in calories and fat (without all that added butter) but high in fiber, popcorn makes a relatively healthy snack. When I'm feeling super fancy, I pop mine at home using coconut oil and sprinkled with white truffle infused olive oil (a buttery, garlicky flavor) or a dash of salt and rosemary, but when my sweet tooth gets the better of me, well, let's just say I go all out. Here are three of my favorite (gluten free) recipes for spectacular popcorn recipes, great for a sweet snack or simple dessert.
Sweet & Sticky Vanilla Bean Popcorn
I never said it was lo-cal after you coat it in sweet deliciosity!
Chocolate Cinnamon Popcorn
Rich chocolate and sweet-spicy cinnamon make this a decadently grown up treat.
Salted Caramel Popcorn
Do I really need to say it? Addictively delicious.
