Food Network star Sandra Lee took some time to help feed those who were left without homes, power and food after Hurricane Sandy. Over the weekend, Lee helped serve Citymeals on Wheels to seniors who were in buildings without working elevators. She was also seen serving warm food at the Bowery Mission, an organization that provides hot meals to the less fortunate in New York City.
"We were headed to one woman's apartment, but she'd been taken to the hospital. She hadn't had water for days," Lee told the NY Daily News. "There are some dire situations out there, but help is on the way."
Lee also contributed by donating $25,000 from the parent company that owns Sears and Kmart to the Bowery Mission.
