Rich and creamy, these vegan refried beans are done in the slow cooker. What could be easier? They do need to sit overnight to soften, but then the entire recipe only takes a few ingredients and about 3 hours in the cooker.
Vegan Homemade Refried Beans-Slow Cooker
1 lb. bag of pinto beans
2 Tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 small onion, finely diced
1 chile pepper, finely diced
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
