Cheese makes for a quick and easy appetizer, especially if you have crackers, raw veggies or fruits on hand. Baked cheese is even better because it's warm and melty, so it's easily spreadable and dippable. Serve baked goat cheese at your next gathering, topped with sliced fig and a drizzling of thyme honey.
Baked Goat Cheese with Figs

Ingredients:
a piece of hard goat cheese (200 g)
a fig
a few branches of fresh thyme
2 tbsp. of honey
Combine thyme leaves with honey. Pour honey-thyme mixture over the cheese.
Top with fig slices and more thyme.
Bake at 200 C (about 400 F) for about 10 minutes.
Serve with bread.
