Substitutes: One cup of bisquick can be substituted by a mix of the following ingredients: 1 c flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp oil or melted butter.

Choosing: Check the expiration date of the product first before buying. A box of Bisquick (unopened) can last up to a year. Do not buy Bisquick with broken or damaged container.

Preparation and Use
Used for making biscuits quickly. It can be used to make a wide variety of baked goods from pizza dough to pancakes to dumplings.
Conserving and Storing
To keep it fresh, store in an airtight container or plastic bag in a cool, dry place, like on your pantry shelf.
For long-term storage, keep it in the refrigerator or freezer. If frozen, bring it to room temperature before using.
