Bacon Maple Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Maple syrup
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pound bacon

Preparation

Cook bacon, drain on a paper towel, and crumble.

Preheat over to 375 degrees

Beat together butter, brown sugar and sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time and maple syrup. Beat for 1 more minute.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in another bowl.

Stir dry ingredients in 3 stages into the wet mixture until incorporated. Do not over mix or your batter with be tough.

Stir in the bacon pieces.

Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.
