Rihanna's trainer, Ary Nuñez, shared a few of the secrets that keep Rihanna in shape. When it comes to her diet, Nuñez says it is all about ensuring Rihanna has enough energy for her busy touring schedule.
"It's more about feeding her to perform," Nuñez said. "She is big on protein -- she loves it."
The celebrity trainer also said it is important to have the right combination of food in every meal. "You shouldn't mix starches with protein because there is an enzyme that exists for the processing of starches, and an enzyme that exists for the processing of protein -- and they don't get along."
A typical meal for Rihanna while she is on tour is a piece of fish with a side of salad or vegetables.
