Butterscotch Bran Drop Cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup raisins
Preparation

Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg, baking powder, vanilla and salt; beat well. Stir in flour, cereal and raisins. Chill at least 2 hours. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased and lightly-floured cookie sheet at least 3 inches apart. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. Cool 1 minutes. Remove carefully.
