Aam Pora Sherbet

Ingredients
250 grams Sugar
1 teaspoon Rock Salt
1 teaspoon Red Chilli flakes
2 teaspoons Roasted and ground Cumin powder
(½ tsp of Sodium Benzoate may be added as a preservative if making in bulk)

Cool the mangoes and then remove the skin.

Pass the pulp through a sieve, so that the fibres, if any, are removed.

This is a Drink made of Roasted Raw Mango pulp.
Aam pora shorbot/sherbet is a perfect antidote to the scorching heat of the peak summer months of April, May in India. These drinks have a high nutrient value, and are a saviour against heat strokes and dehydrations too.
