Quick and Easy Cheese Burger Chowder
Ingredients
2 cups ground meat (we use hamburger)
1/4 cup water
2 cups peeled, cubed potatoes (sweet potatoes work really well)
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 beef boullion cube
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups milk
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup shredded cheese (I use Tillamook)
Preparation

Combine ground meat and 1/4 cup of water over medium heat, until warmed through.

Add chopped vegetables, boullion, 1 1/4 cup water and salt.

Cover and cook for 20 minutes, or until vegetables are cooked.

Combine 1/2 cup milk and flour.

Pour over meat and vegetable mixture and combine.

Add remaining milk, cooking and stir until thickened and bubbling.

Remove from heat and add shredded cheese.

Stir until cheese is melted.

This is a fast dinner or a nice lunch, made even faster if you use ground beef that you had already cooked and waiting in the freezer. Enjoy one of our family favorites!
