Over The Top Acorn Squash
Ingredients
1 acorn squash
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp brown sugar
Preparation

Cut squash in half and scoop out seeds

Place cut side down on a jelly roll pan or a dish with sides.

Pour 1/4 inch of water into the pan

Bake 375 for 30 minutes, or until fork tender.

Turn halves over and divide remaining ingredients between both halves of the squash.

Return to oven for 10 minutes, or until butter has melted.

This recipe will make acorn squash the highlight of a meal. Easily double or triple it according to how many people you are serving.
