Greek-Style Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

cup fine dry bread crumbs or 1 cup soft whole wheat bread crumbs
1 tablespoon milk
1 packet (0.7 oz) Italian Salad Dressing Mix (5 teaspoons)
4 pita bread rounds, toasted
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons olive oil

Preparation

1
In a medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, egg white, milk and half of the salad dressing packet (reserve the other half). Add turkey; mix well. Shape turkey mixture into four 6-inch long, 1/2-inch thick oval patties.
2
In a small bowl, combine vinegar, olive oil, the other half of the salad dressing, tomatoes, cucumber and olives to make Greek Salsa; set aside.
3
Place patties on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from the heat for 11-13 minutes or until no longer pink (165 degrees), turning once halfway through broiling time.
4
Serve the burgers in pita bread rounds. Top with Greek salsa and feta cheese.
