Chili Sherry

Ingredients
dried chili peppers
Preparation

You take dried red chilli peppers (presumably your jalapenos; we don't make such distinctions here!) and place them in a clean bottle full of sherry, and allow them to steep for about three weeks. The resultant fluid makes a delicious spicy addition to soups and stews, and you can top up with sherry a time or two before the chillis lose their potency.
