Mysterious Porcupine Balls
Ingredients
1 cup raw rice
1 lb hamburger
1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 quart spaghetti sauce
s/p to taste
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except sauce.

Form 4 equal sized meatballs.

Place in oven proof dish.

Pour sauce over all.

Cover and bake at 350, until rice is cooked and meat if browned through.

Serve with good bread to mop up extra sauce, a nice veg on the side and coleslaw.

Just an old family recipe. I have no idea where it came from, before my mother made it. Easy and delicious, this makes 4 hearty porky balls...I double it for my family of 7 (6 of which are eaters + a baby nibbler).
The name comes from the little pieces of rice sticking out every which way. What? What were YOU thinking?
