We have a search engine for everything else, why not food?
GrubHub is a service that lets you order food for either delivery or take out online or even by mobile phone. Since 2004, Grubhub has been connecting eateries and hungry fans in a most efficient manner.
Their idea is working. GrubHub has recently aquired Dotmenu, the parent company of Campusfood and Allmenus. According to their site, currently have over 15,000 restaurants listed. You can search by your address and find out which restaurants near you deliver and which allow pickup. You can also search for cuisine or menu item
Now, you can throw out your stack of local menues and just do a search. Of course, there is an app for both iPhone and Android .
