Teff

Teff or tef is a cereal grain native to Ethiopia in Northeastern Africa and parts of Arabia.

The grain is very small, but has a very mild, nutty flavor. White teff is high in protein, amino acids, calcium and iron. Teff can be ground into flour and be used to make breads and pastries. It can also be eaten whole, boiled, baked, or steamed.
