Tante Sally's Taco Soup

Preparation

Brown ground beef and drain.

Drain and rinse beans and hominy.

Combine beef, beans, hominy, tomatoes, sauce, and water in large cooking pot.

Bring to boil, then add bouillon, seasoning, and powdered dressing mix.

Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, on medium low for fifteen minutes before serving.

Garnish with cheese and sour cream.

Tante Sally introduced us to this recipe many years ago and it is always well received! This makes a lot of soup and is better the second day. Great to leave simmering in a crock pot all day when it's cold outside and everyone is coming and going at different times. Serve with cornbread or corn chips. A side salad is a nice addition, as well.
