Mom's Taco Bake

Ingredients

1 can of corn
1/4 cup salsa
2 cans of crescents
3/4 cup white rice

Then, prepare the rice according to the directions on the box. It’s ok to use the microwave rices to save time.

Brown the meat and add the taco seasoning according to the packet’s directions.

Create a crust by lining the baking dish with the crescent rolls. Be sure to cover the bottom and the sides.

When the rice is done cooking mix it in a bowl with the refried beans and drained corn.

Now you will being the layering. Start with a thin layer of refried bean mixture, followed by cheese, then salsa and lastly taco meat. Repeat until you reach the top and then sprinkle a nice helping of cheese. Use a spatula to help spread the layers.

Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and crust golden brown.
