The Ace Cocktail

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Dry Gin
1/2 ounce Grenadine
1/2 ounce Cream
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Juice
White of Egg

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass without ice. Shake.

Add ice. Shake again.

Strain into a coupe.

Grate Fresh Nutmeg over the top.

The Ace is a funny little drink, and one of the most obscure ones we've done to date. Whenever you see a drink recipe calling for cream and nutmeg, you know it's meant primarily for one thing: brunch. And boy, what a brunch drink it is.
