Mom's Perfect Macaroni Salad
Ingredients
3 cups dry elbow noodles
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
Preparation

Boil elbow noodles in salted water until al dente. Cool with cold water.

Combine mayo, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper in small bowl. Stir until well combined.

Add chopped vegetables to mayo mixture and stir well

Pour mayo mixture over noodles and stir well

Chill well before serving

This is my mother's macaroni salad recipe. She used the same ingredients and substituted potatoes for the noodles, added peas or bacon. It is truly a versatile mix, that is a family favorite.
