Ingredients
6 quarts
Tomatoes
3 mediums
Onions
4 tablespoons
Salt
4 cups White
sugar
1/2 teaspoon
Cayenne
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons
Cinnamon
1 cup Vinegar
Preparation

Skin
tomatoes. Put everything in a large kettle and
boil
until thick,
stirring
often so it doesn't stick. Put in
sterilized
jars and
seal
.

Boiling
takes a couple of hours until it is good and thick.
Taste
when it's pretty well done and add sugar or vinegar to
taste
.

Makes about 6 pints.
