Layered Orange Dessert

Ingredients

1 pkg CHRISTIE Chocolate Wafer Cookies
1 pkg JELL-O Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
1 cup milk
1 cup COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Rind of one orange
2 oranges, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4 cup KRAFT Orange Marmalade

Preparation

ARRANGE chocolate wafer cookies in bottom of 8 in. square pan.

PREPARE pudding mix with milk as directed on package. Fold in whipped topping and orange rind.

POUR half the pudding mixture over cookies. Layer with additional wafers and remaining pudding mixture. Top with oranges.

THIN marmalade with a little water; spoon over oranges and chill.

Shop for citrus fruits with glossy skins that are free of bruises, mould or soft spots. For maximum juice, choose fruit that feels heavy for its size.

For best results, store all citrus in perforated plastic bags in the refrigerator. They'll last up to six weeks refrigerated, but will deteriorate in only a few days at room temperature.
