Bananas Flambe

Ingredients

6 smalls ripe bananas peeled, sliced
2 tablespoons low-calorie margarine
1 tablespoon brown sugar
teaspoon allspice
2 ounces dark rum
3 cups sugar-free low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt

Preparation

Melt the margarine in a skillet. Add the bananas and sprinkle with the sugar and allspice. Saute until bananas are browned.

Add the rum and ignite with a long match. When the flames die down, serve bananas with vanilla yogurt.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Serving size: 1 banana with 1/2 cup yogurt.
