WITCHES BREW

Ingredients

13 ounces Vodka

4 ounces Cointreau

4 ounces vanilla liqueur or 5 oz. vanilla simple syrup

8 ounces orange juice

1.5 L apple cider

1 tsp. nutmeg

3 cinnamon sticks

1 orange thinly sliced

cinnamon sugar (for rim)

3 tsp. brown sugar

Fresh apple – red or green for garnish

Preparation

Add apple cider, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, vanilla liqueur, orange juice, orange slices and brown sugar to a slow cooker and let warm slowly until heated through. If you do not have a slow cooker you can use a large pot just be sure to keep the burner on low and heat up slowly. Add Vodka and Cointreau about 30 minutes before serving. Rub orange wedge around entire rim of glass and dip into cinnamon sugar mix. Garnish: Float thinly sliced apple for garnish. This cocktail can be served warm or chilled.

**MOCKTAIL VERSION**

Simply leave out all the alcohol and up your Orange juice to 16 ounces and add 2 bottle of apple cider.
