About

Preparing a tasty side dish is more complicated than the main dish itself :). Same old chutneys and gravies are not only boring to eat but to cook too, right.Day before yesterday when I kneaded the dough for chapathi for our dinner I was so bored to make usual dal or north Indian gravies I always make.I wanted something really simple, quick and tasty too. When I was flipping through my favorite cook book(Mallika Badrinath) I found this simple recipe ,tomato sagu.Sagu generally means a gravy or side dish I guess. The recipe looked very easy to prepare that too with my favorite ingredient -tomato.I made it more spicy than mentioned in the recipe and it was great with chapathis.I made a simple and yummy raita with the left over next day and that tasted even better.Try this very tasty one.
