Nihari

Ingredients

1 Meat (boneless, shin) Mutton/Beef 1 Kg
2 Oil 1 cup
3 Yoghurt (beaten) ½ cup
4 Wheat flour 4- 5 tablespoon
5 Onion finely shredded (for tempering) one small size
6 Lemon wedges, sliced ginger, chopped green 2 7 . Spices: salt to taste, chilli powder 1 teaspoon,

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan

Add yoghurt, meat, spices and fry for 5-10 minutes.

Add 3-4 glass of tap water and cook on medium flame till meat is tender.

Dissolve the wheat flour in water and add to the curry and stirr vigorously. Continue to cook till oil is sepates out.

Fry onion in one tablespoon of oil till golden brown. Then pour over the curry.

Delicious Nihari is ready.

Serve with naan/roti and garnish. Fried rice can also be served with nihari
