Fruit and Nut Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup Sugar or less
1 cup Applesauce
1/4 cup Oil
3 tablespoons Skim milk
1 cup Whole wheat flour
1 cup Unbleached white flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 cup Chopped walnuts
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Chopped dates
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine sugars, applesauce, oil, egg whites and milk. Mix thoroughly. Add flours, baking soda, baking powder and spices. Combine until well mixed. Stir in nuts, raisins and dates. Spoon into lightly oiled or paper lined muffin tins and bake for 20-30 minutes.
