Malabar Fish Curry
Ingredients
Seer fish (or any fresh fish) - 6 pieces
Green Chili - 4
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Red Chili powder - 1 tsp
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Raw Mango slice - to taste
Salt to taste
Coconad coconut oil - 2 tbsp
Shallots - 6 finely chopped
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Preparation

Clean and slice the fish.

Make a paste of the ginger and garlic.

Grind the coconut with half cup water to a fine paste.

Add the green chili, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder and the raw mango slice into a cooking pot with some water (1 cup) and place on stove.

When the mixture boils slide in the fish pieces and let it cook without stirring for 5 minutes.

Add the fine coconut paste and some additional water if the paste is too thick.

Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 5-8 minutes.
