Ingredients
2 tablespoons
oil
1 medium
onion,
chopped
2 cloves
garlic,
minced
2 teaspoons
dried
oregano
1/2 teaspoon
dried
basil
3/4 teaspoon
salt
3 pounds
crushed
tomatoes
Preparation

In a medium saucepan,
heat
the oil over medium
heat,
then add the onion, garlic, oregano, and basil. Sauté until the onion is soft.

Add the
salt
and tomatoes, cover, and cook over low
heat
for 30 minutes.

Serve
immediately over your favorite pasta or meat
dish.
