Breakfast Barley

Ingredients
1/2 pint orange juice
1/2 pint water
2 ounces dried apricots
1 pinch ground cloves
4 ounces pearl barley
1/2 ounce butter or margarine
1 ounce mixed nuts, chopped (optional)

Stir in the butter or margarine & the nuts if using.

Serve hot either as is or with a splash of soymilk. A hearty, filling alternative to oatmeal.
