Classic Bruschetta

Ingredients
2 tomatoes peeled, seeded,
and finely diced
4 anchovy fillets
(2 of them finely chopped)
2 salted capers rinsed, dried,
and roughly chopped
1 garlic clove finely chopped
2 fresh basil leaves torn small pieces
teaspoon dried oregano
2 thick slices country bread
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Salt if necessary
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
