New Years Sauerkraut and Kielbasa

Ingredients
2
kielbasa sausages
1 tablespoon
cooking
oil
3 pounds prepared sauerkraut
1
small
onion
1 can
beer
1/2 teaspoon
dried
red pepper
Preparation
1
Slice
sausages diagonally into one inch
slices.

Fry
sausage
slices
at medium
heat
on both sides in cooking oil in bottom of a large
wok.

While sausages are
frying,
dice onion.

Add onion to
wok
and continue
frying,
stirring
occasionally until onion is transparent.

Drain sauerkraut thoroughly and pat
dry.
Add to
wok
and combine with sausages and onion.

Pour beer over mixture and combine.

Sprinkle red pepper into mixture, lower
heat
to medium low and
simmer,
stirring
occasionally, 15-20 minutes or until beer is almost evaporated.
