Sounds interesting - but how do you drink it? Do you mix it with anything? Orange juice, soda, ginger beer?

I made a similar thing, but it was an orange with 44 coffee beans inserted into the skin, 44 spoons of sugar, in vodka and left for 44 days...we drank it like a liqueur

I just found this recipe on another site that called for 1 liter of rum and all else the same. Quite a difference. Which is correct?

I've done it with 5 liters and it was good, but you can vary the ratio of rum to sugar depending on your personal taste for sweetness in drinks
