Mushroom Biryani

Ingredients
2 cups button mushrooms, thickly sliced
1 large onion, chopped
2 smalls tomatoes, chopped
1 green chilly, slit
1 teaspoon turmeric
2 teaspoons red chilly powder
salt, to taste
1 cup coriander leaves and mint leaves
masala powder, roasted and ground to coarse powder

Heat oil in deep pan, add onions and green chilly.

Now add the mushroom slices, tomatoes and coriander & mint leaves.

Mushroom will leave some water so the entire mixture will cook on it own juice and will become a thick gravy.

Cover the pan with a lid tightly and cook until the rice is done. Serve hot with Onion Raitha.
