Rice Pudding With Raisins
Ingredients
2
eggs,
beaten
4 cups
milk
(I added an additional ½ c. or so
of
he
avy whipping cre
2 teaspoons
vanilla
1/2 cup
raisins
(optional, but not in my opinion!)
1/2 cup uncooked
rice,
regular, though I have used instant in a jam
1 tablespoon
butter
or
margarine
1/2 teaspoon
cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon
nutmeg
(I really like
nutmeg
I use more)
Preparation

Mix
all the ingredients together.

Pour into a 2 qt
dish.

Bake
at 300 degrees for 2 and 1/2 hours.

The raisins will probably stick the bottom, that's ok. The
top
should get nice and crispy. Yum!
