Ingredients
4 cups
old-fashioned
oats
1 cup chopped
apple
cup chopped
walnuts
1 teaspoon
salt
4 cups
water
1 teaspoon
vanilla
cup
dates
Preparation

Combine oats, walnuts, raisins, and
salt
in a bowl and
mix
well.

In a
separate
container combine water and vanilla. Combine all ingredients,
stirring
gently.

Pour into oiled 8- by 8-inch
baking
dish.
Bake
at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
Stir
in dates and
serve
.
