About
- A very moist and light cake that simply melts in your mouth. The combination of flavors is slightly dominated by the coffee mousse. And it’s quite pretty too :-), at least for an amateur like me - it was my most difficult cake up to date...
- Calorie wise, I used egg whites, low fat cottage cheese and milk instead of cream cheese, sour and whipping creams. Very often these substitutions don’t work well, but in this case they did! So 425 calories a piece is a good deal for such a rich cake. Next time I might substitute yogurt for some of the butter in the “Fluffy Light Butter” cake to make it “an Even Lighter Butter and Yogurt” cake :-).
- Time wise, this was a lot of work. Together with all the planning and picking and choosing from the different recipes it probably took me 6 hours. If you simply follow the recipe as is, it will still take at least 2-3 hours of active work. But the taste is worth it, especially if you enjoy the baking process.
