Dry Rub Spare Ribs

Ingredients

3 lbs. of spare ribs
Dry Rub:
½ tsp. ground turmeric
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
½ tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Jamaican curry powder
1 tsp. brown sugar

Preparation

Combine all of the ingredients for the rub in a small bowl and mix.

Rub the ribs with the dry rub and place in a zip-lock bag or in a covered bowl in the refrigerator over- night.

Preheat the oven 350 degrees:

Place the ribs in a baking pan. Cover the pan with tin foil and bake for about 2 hours, untouched.
