51-year-old letter carrier, Kevin Strebinger, has not cut his hair for over fifteen years. Now he promises to cut his hair when the residents of South Bend and Granger in Indiana donate at least 200,000 pounds of non-perishable items for the nation’s single largest food drive: “Stamp Out Hunger.” Strebinger’s family, who wanted to cut his hair, said that they are donating twice as much food. Some friends joke that they are going to donate heavy cans of fruit cocktails. Last year, the postal food drive received 102,000 pounds of food from his area in South Bend. He promised to only cut his hair when the goal is met.
