The Food Illustrator Project by David Meldrum Features 365 Daily Drawn Meals

July 5, 2011

The Food Illustrator Project by David Meldrum is a food diary unlike any other. The English graphic designer spent the past year doodling his daily meals using watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, and collage techniques; he began the project on June 15, 2010 and completed it on June 14, 2011.

David Meldrum's project is a fascinating look into dietary habits; for example, he drank 305 pints of Peroni beer and drank 1,360 cups of coffee. The Food Illustrator project were shown and sold at London's Arch 402 Gallery last month.
