Two class action lawsuits against Conagra, the manufacturer of Wesson oil, are challenging the oil's label which states "100% natural". This is not the case since the product is made from GMO corn, which actually doesn't occur naturally.
"In addition to monetary damages sought by both suits, the California case also seeks an order “requiring Defendant to adopt and enforce a policy that requires appropriate disclosure of GM ingredients and/or removal of misleading natural claims, which complies with California law.”
If the plaintiffs win the lawsuit, it could mean good news for the fight to get all GMOs labeled.
