This Mysterious Fossil Threadless cake by Burton Farnsworth of CakeFX features the fossilized remains of Fred Flintstone. The vanilla cardamom cake is covered in fondant and buttercream; Farnsworth used gum paste, modeling chocolate and rolled fondant to create Flintstone and his clothing.
It took Farnsworth four hours to make the Mysterious Fossil Threadless cake. After seeing some of the previous entries to this competition (here, here, here, here and here), do you think his design has what it takes to win?
