The best desserts are those that use the season's best ingredients, mostly fruit, and the summer is no different. The summer offers a plethora of berries and stone fruit that are ripe for the picking. Here are my top summer desserts and I hope you find them as sweet as I do.

Blueberry Buckle
A buckle is a single layer cake that is peppered with fruit and topped with a streusel topping.

Grilled Peaches with Marscapone
A simple summer dessert that only requires three ingredients.

Summer Berry Pudding
A dessert that is made with berries soaked in white bread or cake.

Plum Upside Down Cake
This cake uses fresh summer plums instead of pineapple.

Rhubarb Crisp
This crisp is made with rhubarb, strawberry jam, crystallized ginger and orange zest.
