FDA Claims Arsenic Levels in Apple Juice Is Safe

By now you have heard of the alarm over apple juice containing unsafe levels of arsenic.

The FDA has releases a statement saying that they have:  

Every confidence in the safety of apple juice.

Senior science advisor, Donald Zink, Ph.D., at FDA's Center for Food Safety and Nutrition, says that small amounts of arsenic can be found in certain foods, including fruit juice and juice concentrates.  According to Zink, there is no evidence of any public health risk from drinking these juices.
