Last night, the White House hosted a State Dinner with a menu and wine list that was sure to please their honored guest, British Prime Minister David Cameron.
During appetizers, guests were served NV Thibaut-Janisson Burt from Virginia. The main course was a crisped halibut with Brussels sprouts and a salad, which was accompanied by a 2009 Peter Michael Chardonnay Ma Belle-Fille from California. Next, guests of the State Dinner dined on bison Wellington and sipped on a 2008 Leonetti Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington Sate. Lastly, steamed lemon pudding was served for dessert and was paired with a 2007 Russian Cuvee from California.
