Kirin Brewing has added a new frozen draft beer to its Ichiban Shibori draft offerings this March. The brew itself isn't actually frozen, but the foam head is. The beer brand developed a tap that will chill and freeze the head of the beer at 23 degrees Fahrenheit.
The foam keeps the beer nice and cold for about 30 minutes and can be eaten as a frosty treat. Ichiban Shibori frozen beer will be released throughout Asia in the next year, and depending on its success, may make its way to the United States.
