We all know that factory farming is really bad for animals (and people, and the environment). One of the most iconically bad companies in all of factory farming is Smithfield Foods – the world’s largest pork producer. For years, human rights advocates, environmentalists, and people who care about animals have decried the abusive practices at Smithfield.
And now we have the opportunity to shine a spotlight on this important food issue!
The Humane Society of the United States’ video, “Undercover at Smithfield” foods is up for a prestigious Webby Award. You can vote for it today with these easy steps:

Food is an important part of our lives. Eating meat is important in our food chain. However inhumane treatment and total disregard for animal life and welfare is not acceptable.
