Steve Carell went to pick up a pizza pie at his favorite restaurant in North Hollywood when he spontaneously decided to hop behind the counter and take a few orders. Carell noticed the owner of the pizzeria was short-staffed, so the actor spent 45-minutes taking orders and answering the phone while clad in an apron.
Carell was awarded with a free pizza at the end of his short shift. "Take the pizza. It cost me less than having to pay you," the owner told him.
